How to assign seats at your wedding

Posted by Gina from Hannover, Germany on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 Under: Table plan
We're going to have one big imperial table for 46 guests.
Where do you sit bride and groom in Italy? and parents and witnesses?

Thanks

Hi Gina
the picture you see here shows what the etiquette requires. The bride sits to the right of the groom.Next to her, the groom's father, the maid of honor, the bride's father. On the other side, next to the groom, the bride' s mother, the best man, the groom' s mother.

I like to suggest an other option that my couples usually appreciate a lot.

In this way all your guests will be able to look at you easily. The end of the table is left empty and preferably oriented towards the best view (landscape if you're outdoor, rest of the hall or band stage if you're indoor)
