Catholic Ceremony and music

Hi Giusy,
my name is Caroline and I am from Norway.
I am getting married next September in a tiny countryside Church in Locorotondo.
I have been told I am not allowed to have a violin playing in the Church during ceremony.
Is that true?


Ciao Caroline,
the only instrument explicitly allowed to be played in a Church is the organ.
Therefore, the use of all other instruments is subject to the authorization of the parish in charge of the Church.
