Ashley and Joshua are from Los Angeles, California and have chosen Ostuni for their wedding day.
It was during Easter week, an unusually rainy week with 17°C that could not stop everybody's excitement for the forthcoming event!
A long wedding week end starting from Thursday with a guided tour for all guests to
Grotte di Castellana
and a light dinner with wine tasting in a local Enoteca.
On the Friday the party visited Polignano a mare and
, ending the day at the rehearsal dinner in one of the best restaurants for local cuisine
Osteria del tempo perso
, located in a natural cave.
Thankfully, on the wedding day the sun was shining in a partially clouded blue sky and this let us celebrate the wedding outdoor, in the courtyard of the Town Hall.
After the ceremony Ashley and Josh went with the photographers
for a shooting session through the white washed tiny streets of the old town and walked up on the hill of Ostuni to the reception venue
La Sommità is a five star luxury hotel with a stunning view.
Its Cielo restaurant has a Michelin Star. Chef Sebastiano Lombardi created a gorgeous dinner and an exquisite wedding cake
We chose to name the tables after the towns in the surroundings. Flower arrangements with blush roses and baby's breath gave a touch of romanticism.
Ashley and Joshua happily opened my Wedding Season 2014!

I was born in the amazing and difficult city of Naples, Italy. I grew up on a land between the Volcano and the sea. Here I found my twin soul, my love, my husband and now business partner, Mimmo Morena. We married on a rainy Friday in May 1995 – against the will of our families. I was the too emancipated city girl, he was a country boy with a job that wasn’t a “true” job – professional basketball player. Anyway, we did it. Both families took part in the wedding, we had 280 guests. I didn’t care about anything but my dress and bouquet. The dress was designed and tailor-made for me by Nuage – Naples. As to flower decorations, I told the florist I loved red roses. The only thing I cared for was reaching the altar! Maybe this is why today I do love organising every single detail of a wedding – my brides and grooms get the best out of my time and expertise.
