Vintage wedding - Victoria and Ben's perfect day

September is a magic month to get married in Puglia.
Blue sky, 25 degrees, terrific sunset!

A small wedding with an intimate atmosphere and a vintage mood inspired by the bride’s dress.

It is only a ten-minute walk from the venue to the ceremony location in the ancient courtyard of Ostuni Town Hall, where the Mayor celebrated and toasted with the newlyweds at the nearby bar in the main square.

The audience was a party of old men that contributed happily to give a vintage look to some of the best shots of the day by talented Anna Ambrosi

“The white City”, as Puglia people call this stunning town on the top of a hill overlooking the Adriatic Sea, is an ideal setting for a shooting session.

Back to the 5 star luxury hotel La Sommità, guests enjoyed a breathtaking sunset on the terrace before starting the antipasto buffet in the garden.

Michelin starred Chef Sebastiano Lombardi enchanted the party with a delicious dinner and best Puglia wines.

He also pleased the newlyweds with a cheese wedding cake according to the desire they had expressed during the dinner tasting months before the wedding day.

The dining hall was simply and finely decorated with bouquets of white flowers: English rose, calla lilly, hydrangea, tuberose, spray rose, akito rose.

White Italian confetti in small white bags as placeholders. White menus with bride and groom’s monogram.

Thanks to Victoria and Ben for choosing me J

About Me

Giusy D'Ambrosio I was born in the amazing and difficult city of Naples, Italy. I grew up on a land between the Volcano and the sea. Here I found my twin soul, my love, my husband and now business partner, Mimmo Morena. We married on a rainy Friday in May 1995 – against the will of our families. I was the too emancipated city girl, he was a country boy with a job that wasn’t a “true” job – professional basketball player. Anyway, we did it. Both families took part in the wedding, we had 280 guests. I didn’t care about anything but my dress and bouquet. The dress was designed and tailor-made for me by Nuage – Naples. As to flower decorations, I told the florist I loved red roses. The only thing I cared for was reaching the altar! Maybe this is why today I do love organising every single detail of a wedding – my brides and grooms get the best out of my time and expertise.
